Glossary of terms and materials

Our Earrings:

Studs - Earrings that are small and worn close to the ear with a post and a back.  The size of the stud can vary between styles.  

Huggies - Small hoops in a circular shape that are approximately 0.5-1 inch in diameter.

Hoops - Larger earrings in a circular shape that are approximately 1-2 inches or larger in diameter.

Drops - Earrings that dangle down from the ear, either from a post or a hook.  

Ear Climbers - Earrings that are similar to studs but are elongated to climb up the earlobe.

Ear Cuffs - Adjustable cuffs that clip along the side of the ear.  

Our Necklaces:

Pendants - A chain worn around the neck with a charm at the end, usually 15-18 inches in length. 

Chokers - A shorter necklace that is close to the neck, usually 14-15 inches in length.

Layered Necklaces - Two or more necklaces of various lengths layered together with one clasp.

Long Pendants and Necklaces - Longer necklace styles with or without pendants that are 20 inches in length or longer.  

Y-Necks - A necklace that comes together with a longer piece of chain at the end.  

Toggle Necklace - A necklace with the closure in the front, hooked together with a circle and bar.

Our Bracelets:

Sliders - A bracelet that can be adjusted by pulling on the ends to fit your wrist.

Cuffs - A bracelet that goes around your wrist but is open in the back to adjust to fit your wrist.

Clasp (Tennis) Bracelets - A bracelet that has a clasp closure, but also can adjust with a slider to fit your wrist.

Stretch Bracelets - An elastic bracelet usually with beading or stones.

Statement Rings - A larger ring with a bolder look.

Stackable Rings - Delicate rings that are made to stack with other rings or sold as a set.

Adjustable Rings - Rings that are open in the back to allow you to adjust to your finger.

Our Materials: 

Semi-precious stones - opal, agate, quartz, jasper, labradorite, aventurine, moonstone, garnet, and amethyst. 

Resin - a material used in fashion jewelry made of acrylic or acetate

Thread and Beading - we use thread for tassels or trims.  We use beading in fashion necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.  Our beads are made of pearl, resin, stone, and glass.
